After a long period away from Glasgow, the Irish indie band 'Two Door Cinema Club' returned with an all-star performance. With a classic Glasgow venue, The Barrowlands, it was a quick sell out that attracted fans of varying ages. The iconic bright lights of the ballroom hyped the show before the fans had even entered the building. With fitting support from Anteros, with a bold frontwoman, an alternative pop style and a unique sound. After Anteros interested the crowd, Sundara Karma warmed them up with some heavy smoke, deep blue lighting and a classic indie vibe and with over 1 million monthly listers there was plenty of support and singing going on in the crowd.

The main act began with a fan favourite - 'Cigarettes in the Theatre' - the first on their debut album 'Tourist History'. As the show continued the songs played summarised the bands three albums with songs as 'Undercover Martyn', another from the debut. 'Next Year' from 'Beacon' and 'Are We Ready (Wreck!)' from their release - 'Gameshow'. Along with the songs played there was white lighting showing the band and all their style along with an excellent light show behind them with seven screens that suited the personality of each song they performed, ranging from binary style footage to high speed space travel. Finishing the main performance with 'Sun' - A truly artistic piece of music. They left the stage quickly with the crowd cheering. The cheers then morphed into chants of 'One more song! One more song!...' After a short while with tensions rising the band then re-entered the stage and invited the lead singer of 'Anteros - Laura Hayden' to join them for 'The World is Watching'. To end the show with band they then played fan favourite 'What You Know'; that has a whopping count of almost 130 millions plays on Spotify.

It was a truly grand showcase of the indie genre in the Barrowland Ballroom and it is safe to say that Glasgow will remember a special performance from one of the grooviest bands around.
