Isle of Wight Festival: Catfish lead the latest names for 2017

A new batch of names for this year’s Isle of Wight Festival has been released, led by Catfish and the Bottlemen.

Van McCann’s band are announced in a disparate grouping alongside poppier names including Zara Larsson and The Vamps.

The Strypes and Liverpool band Judas are the pick of the other names to be released.

The AmazonsThe Novatones and Second Sons are also confirmed for 2017.

Arcade Fire, Bastille, Rag ‘n’ Bone Man and more have previously been announced for the iconic festival.

sle of Wight relaunched in 2002, and features a variable mixture of pop, indie and rock names, both new and old.

It takes place on 8-11 June – the same weekend as Download Festival – at Seaclose Park.

Tickets are on sale now, with weekend prices set at £195 for adults.
