Deaf Havana, Hinds, Dream Wife, Pulled Apart By Horses and more are set for Oxfordshire this July
Deaf Havana, Hinds and Pulled Apart By Horses are among the latest batch of bands to be announced for Truck Festival 2017.
The second wave reveals a mixture of mostly new, alt-oriented bands, joining The Libertines, The Vaccines, Franz Ferdinand and more.
Alternative rock band Deaf Havana – experiencing a renaissance of sorts in 2017 – and Pulled Apart By Horses will be on the heavier side of the lineup.
They’re joined in the latest announcement by Spain’s Hinds, plus 2017 hype bands Dream Wife, The Night Café and Pumarosa.
Liverpool indie rock band The Big Moon, Jamie Lenman, The Rhythm Method and The Moonlandingz are some of the other familiar names revealed today.
Vukovi – who release their debut album on Friday – prolific festival performers Honeyblood and Nottingham trio Kagoule are also added to the schedule.
Actor – and possible future James Bond – Idris Elba will also be playing one of his festival DJ sets on the weekend.
The 20th anniversary edition of the independent Oxfordshire festival takes place from 21-23 July.
It’s close to selling out, too, with some tickets still currently available, priced at £125.
Other highlights from the first announcement included The Wombats, VANT, Twin Atlantic and recent FEISTY feature The Shimmer Band.
