Y Not Festival: Happy Mondays, Frank Turner and more confirmed for 2017

The latest wave of bands join headliners The Vaccines, Stereophonics and Two Door Cinema Club

Y Not Festival takes place in Derbyshire from 27-30 July 2017

The latest announcement for Y NOT 2017 is an alluring second wave of bands for the Derbyshire festival this summer.

Madchester legends Happy Mondays, a rare Frank Turner solo performance and post-punks Spring King are all set for Pikehall in July.

Last month headliners Two Door Cinema Club, The Vaccines and Stereophonics were announced, plus Sundara Karma, Jake Bugg and more.

The second wave reveal adds gloss to those major names, including alternative rock from Deaf Havana, Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes and Black Honey.

Also announced today are grime pioneer Lethal Bizzle, millennial voice Declan McKenna and Liverpool’s indie rock foursome The Big Moon.

Honeyblood, Kagoule, Vukovi, Black Foxxes, Menace Beach and Young Guns are other highlights from the latest reveal.

Blaenavon, Clean Cut Kid, King No-One and Splashh and actor-turned-DJ Idris Elba are others to be confirmed.

Y NOT takes place at Pikehall in Derbyshire between 27-30 July.

Tickets are, compared to most festivals, relatively affordable at £109.50 – and are set to sell-out faster than usual.

The main alternative to Y NOT on the same weekend is the long sold-out Kendal Calling, starring Manic Street Preachers, Franz Ferdinand and more.
