The rising star's debut album will also be "announced imminently"
Rising star Declan McKenna has announced that he’ll be back on the road in May.
Following his recent dates and three previously announced shows in March, he’ll be at venues around the country and Ireland again between 15-30 May.
The two-week stretch starts in Bristol and travels through cities including Manchester, London and Birmingham, concluding in Brighton.
We described his recent Sheffield performance as a “frantic live show”.
Declan McKenna is quickly emerging as a teen idol, with his lyrical themes speaking for a generation.
We’re also told in passing by his press representatives than his debut album will be “announced imminently”.
Declan’s most recent release was the millennial anthem The Kids Don’t Wanna Come Home last month.
Tickets for the May dates go on sale at www.declanmckenna.com on Friday 24 February.
The gap in Declan’s schedule from 27-29 May could mean he’s set to be announced for one of that weekend’s multiple festivals.
