Weye Blood joins him for four shows in November as part of his European tour
Father John Misty will be back in the UK in November for a four-date UK tour.
The brief visit sticks to major cities – specifically Glasgow, Edinburgh, Manchester and London – before further performances around mainland Europe.
His third album under the Misty moniker, Pure Comedy, was released earlier this month to critical acclaim.
It features the sardonic political commentary of the title track, plus standouts Ballad of the Dying Man and Total Entertainment Forever.
Father John Misty – real name Josh Tillman – has been a popular live performer in the UK for years, and his tours often sell-out.
That’s sure to happen again this time, so it’s worth snapping up tickets quickly when they go on sale this Friday, at 9am.
His Glasgow date is a swift return to the city, following his performance at this year’s BBC 6 Music Festival in February.
The European shows that follow the UK performances include visits to France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Spain and Portugal.
He’s also performing in Europe in June, predominantly at festivals, including Primavera Sound in Barcelona and Roskilde in Denmark.
US musician Weyes Blood will be supporting Misty at all of his November dates.
