The latest pack of performers for this year’s Kendal Calling has been revealed, with more bands for the main and second stages.

FeederDMA’s and British Sea Power head the latest list, which supplements the vast previous announcements for this July’s event.

Kendal Calling was one of the first UK festivals to sell out this year back in February, but a resale of unfulfilled bookings is scheduled for sometime in June.

The new additions include five more bands for the main stage, including Feeder, whose frontman Grant Nicholas performed solo at Kendal in 2015.

Aussie Britpop pastiches DMA’s and festival regulars British Sea Power are joined by indie band RedFaces and Colonel Mustard and the Dijon 5.

The Calling Out stage – the second at Kendal, and typically featuring up-and-coming bands – also has 13 new names.

That includes Dead! and The Rhythm Method, plus quirky Finnish synth-punks Have You Ever Seen The Jane Fonda Aerobic VHS?

Also appearing are former Catfish and the Bottlemen guitarist Billy Bibby’s new band, Billy Bibby and the Wry Smiles, who have a growing cult fanbase but are booked for few festivals.

The lineup for the comedy stage Soapbox has also been confirmed.

Kendal Calling features an unprecedented six headliners in 2017, all revealed back in January.
