Queen of the Stone Age have announced plans to tour the UK and Ireland this autumn.
The US rock giants, who announced their return yesterday with details of their new 'Villains' LP, will call at Manchester Arena, the O2 Arena in London, Edinburgh's Usher Hall and Dublin's 3Arena between November 19 and 24 in support of the record. Tickets are on general sale at 10am on June 21, prices start at £27.50 plus fees.
With the follow up to 2013's 'Like Clockwork' set to arrive on August 25 via Matador Records, the band have also shared the album's artwork, tracklist and lead single, The Way We Used To Do. Speaking about the inspiration behind the title of the record, vocalist Josh Homme said:
"The title Villains isn’t a political statement. It has nothing to do with Trump or any of that shit. It’s simply 1) a word that looks fantastic and 2) a comment on the three versions of every scenario: yours, mine and what actually happened… Everyone needs someone or something to rail against - their villain - same as it ever was. You can’t control that. The only thing you can really control is when you let go."
