The Xcerts Announce 'Wildheart Dreaming' EP And Spring UK Tour

The Xcerts will return with a new EP and UK tour dates this spring.

The Scottish alt-rock trio will release 'Wildheart Dreaming' on March 29, with dates set to follow in Dundee, Glasgow, Leeds, Cambridge, London, Birmingham, Southampton, Brighton and Bristol. Tickets go on sale at 10am on January 11.

The record features four new tracks that were penned during the sessions for their fourth album, 'Hold On To Your Heart', which came out in January 2018. The EP's lead single, You Mean Everything, will be released on January 25. It was written for vocalist Murray Macleod's family and friends, he explained:

"It turned into a song for all the people I’ve never met. For the ones who feel alone, without self worth, this song is for you. It's a song about compassion which is the theme that runs through the EP and we are so psyched that these songs are finding their way into the world."

Following the tour dates the band will return to the studio to being recording their fifth full length. Macleod added:

"The tour will be the last headline run in support of the 'Hold On To You Heart' era. We'll be celebrating the release of the EP and the best album campaign our band has ever experienced. We're then going to put the beast to bed and head into the studio to record a new album. I actually want to record two new records… Maybe. Anyway, grab your tickets and let's go out in damn fine style."

'Wildheart Dreaming' tracklist:

1. You Mean Everything
